How this role supports our work
This role is instrumental for Red Cross to realise its digital goals and will lead the Apps Delivery and Enterprise architecture teams, working closely with the security, infrastructure, and Business Engagement teams to make a positive impact. A key component of your position will involve providing architecture and strategic advisory services to both the business and CIO in the formulation of their respective strategies in a complex organisation.
This role requires a clear communicator with a passion for technology who brings relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in a similar position.
What you will do day to day
- Provide architectural oversight and governance across enterprise-wide platforms and digital solutions
- Establish and embed frameworks for agile delivery, DevOps and continuous improvement practices
- Shape and maintain the enterprise architecture blueprint, including cloud, data, integration and cyber security domains
- Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies to amplify humanitarian impact
- Champion digital innovation and user-centred design across field operations and donor engagement platforms
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of delivery leads, solution architects and business analysts

What you will bring
- Comprehensive knowledge of, and extensive experience in, management of IT development and national and international operational teams
- High level understanding of technology stacks such as Azure, Boomi,.Net, MS SQL, Dynamics, Power BI and API Integration Platforms
- Substantial knowledge and understanding of IT service management principles, SDLC and development methodology, including Agile
- Experience in successful working relationships and delivery outcomes with 3rd party vendors
- Comprehensive knowledge of and extensive experience with IT lifecycle planning and proven skills in cost and time management
- Experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through to day-to-day management
- Experience in the NFP sector will be well regarded
