We deliver essential services to more than 430,000 customers - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We are entering an exciting period of change and developing our workforce of the future, leading to this reworked role: Head of Integrated Operations.
Reporting to the General Manager Service delivery, the Head of Integrated Operations will provide strategic leadership to assist TasWater achieve reliable and safe provision of water and wastewater services through effective monitoring of work systems, system operations planning and co-ordinating operations to meet operational customer and regulatory response outcomes. You will own and implement the integration of digital monitoring of assets into the operations to identify performance trends and support the future planning of works. Building and leading a high performing team who champion best practice use of data across the organisation, you will lead the use of quantitative information for continuous improvement and efficiency gains. Providing data driven advice and analysis to support the General Manager Service Delivery and key internal stakeholders, you will deliver accurate and timely advice to contribute to the strategic direction and contribute to the Group Plan and ensure outcomes in the Service Delivery Business Plan are achieved.
To be successful in this role, you will be a colloborative leader who is able to demonstrate success in, and communicate within large asset focused organisations. You will have proven leadership experience in multi-disciplinary teams, with substantial depth of experience in a control room environment with a focus on asset network performance and customer outcomes at a senior management level. You will have a track record in displaying high level expertise in data analysis with a continous improvement mindset. You will have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and be able to develop and present material on complex matters to a wide range of audiences. Knowledge and experience in working in regulatory environment with large asset base is key to the ongoing prosperity of this role.
