**Job Description**:
**What will you be doing?**

As the Payment Operations Officer, you are responsible for the regular operations of scheme settlement for issuing, acquiring, stablecoin and cross-border payments, as well as the continual improvement, oversight and articulation of those operations. You have a high level of attention to detail with the ability to solve complex problems as and when they arise to ensure the smooth running of Novatti’s various payment operations. Importantly, in this role you will:

- Establish, initiate and assess necessary transactions to meet daily scheme settlement requirements.
- Ensure that Card Program clients maintain compliance with funding requirements and that Merchants receive daily settlements and monthly statements and invoices.
- Process miscellaneous daily transactional requirements as and when they are required.
- Reconcile issues that arise within operations. Including missing transactions, incorrectly debited transactions, and other general errors.
- Complete cross-border remittances, including transaction processing, procedure documentation, excel creation and reconciliations.

**Qualifications**:

- You have completed an undergraduate degree in Commerce or another relevant discipline.
- You’re proficient with MS, particularly with a high level of skill using excel.
- You are accurate and pay attention to detail. You enjoy owning your work and take charge on projects when needed.
- You are service minded with experience deciphering ambiguous requests and taking ownership.
- You have the ability to create and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels of the global organisation.
- You are motivated by a fast-paced environment where you will have to constantly adapt with a can-do attitude - no two days are the same, seriously
