An Environment Manager job in Melbourne for a major supplier to the construction industry.

**Your new company**
A major supplier to the construction industry with sites in every state.

**Your new role**
Reporting to the Head of Environment, you’ll provide leadership and technical advice to a broad range of stakeholders across multiple sites in your Region. You’ll:

- Drive environmental objectives across the Region supporting Business Leaders to enable agreed environmental outcomes
- Provide recommendations and updates to regional/site environmental systems to comply with the new environmental duties and relevant changes in environment protection legislation
- Effectively manage relationships with the regulator and negotiate reasonable outcomes to facilitate compliance
- Coordinate environmental compliance audits across the Region
- Facilitate the reporting, investigation and management of environmental incidents and complaints in accordance with relevant procedures

**What you'll need to succeed**
As well as having tertiary qualifications in HSE management or a related field, such as Engineering, Science, or Business, you’ll have:

- Experience in HSE/specialising in Environmental Management with knowledge of HSE regulations, systems and processes
- HSE Systems Auditing Qualification (desirable)
- Strong generalist environmental knowledge and multi-site experience
