**Your new role**
The Digital Environment Manager resides within the Digital Release Team and is primarily responsible for the management of all non-production environments for client’s Salesforce and Adobe implementations. Working with the Release and QA functions and System Administrators, the Digital Environment Manager will ensure that environments necessary for the development and testing of deployments and releases are provisioned and refreshed in a timely manner.

Role and responsibilities:

- Defines digital platform environment strategy in coordination with Release, QA, and system administrators.
- Manage the creation, build, upgrade, and support for all Non-Production (test, development etc) Application Environments.
- Manage data refreshes, collating test data and assist in the sanitizing of production or other sensitive data if necessary.
- Provide reports on usage/utilization, availability, forward planning, and schedules.
- Innovate in coordination with the DevOps team to reduce provisioning timeframes and better maintain and monitor reliability of all digital non-production environments employing concepts such as infrastructure as code and site reliability engineering.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in communicating new ideas and leading through change.
- Strong experience communicating with and mentoring at all levels in an organisation from developers to senior managers.
- Strong practical experience with cloud engineering and containerisation concepts.
- Strong practical experience with tooling and languages associated with cloud, infrastructure as code and site reliability engineering (e.g., Splunk, Terraform, AWS CloudWatch, New Relic)
- Strong practical experience with ops observability practices such as setting Service Level Objectives and Error Budget Policies.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., YAML, Python, Perl).
- Experience with DevSecOps transformations.
- Knowledgeable about SAAS/PAAS digital platforms (especially Salesforce and Adobe Experience Manager)
- Knowledgeable about CI/CD architecture, practices, and toolsets.
- Knowledgeable about industry standard DevOps tools (e.g., Maven, Bitbucket, AWS Code Pipelines, Splunk)
- Salesforce Certified Administrator, Adobe Experience Manager Dev/Ops Engineer Expert Certification and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (desirable).
