Government Agency seeking a Procurement Officer for a 6 month assignment (Western Sydney)
**Your new company**
This well known Government Agency requires a Procurement Officer to join their team at a great rate of pay. This job is located in Western Sydney and offers working from home flexibility, once familiar.
**Your new role**
In your new position, you will assist the Procurement unit to deliver an effective procurement service to the different business units. You will administer the end to end procurement process, by assisting in the preparation and publishing of procurement documents, in line with legislation, policies and governance. You will assist with the administration of the contract registers and vendor panels and you will collaborate with all business units to deliver value for money procurement outcomes.
**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to be considered for this position, you will have experience in purchasing and other procurement management functions. You will have good organisational skills, an ability to prioritise work and strong attention to detail. Experience in government tendering, SAP and contract management requirements preferred.
