An exciting opportunity to work for an innovative technology company based in Southern Sydney
**Your new role**
As Procurement Officer, you will maintain key vendor relationships, ensuring goods and services are sourced in accordance with project requirements. You will ensure goods and services meet quantity and quality requirements, and ensure items are delivered in a cost-effective and timely manner. You responsibilities will include
- Sourcing and screening potential suppliers
- Negotiating terms
- Obtaining and comparing quotes
- Tracking and expediting orders to satisfy project schedules
- Ensure items procured meet technical and quality specifications.
- Support the technical staff and Operations Manager for supplemental procurement efforts
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience with sourcing suppliers and managing relationships
- Strong negotiation skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant experience
- Advanced Excel and MS Office experience
- Manufacturing experience would be advantageous
**What you'll get in return**
- Full-time Permanent Role
- $100k + Super
- Immediate Start
- Southern Sydney Location
