**About The Role**:
As our Enterprise Risk and Assurance Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in strengthening our organisation’s risk culture and resilience. Reporting to the Head of Risk and Assurance, you'll lead initiatives that embed best-practice risk management and assurance frameworks, policies and strategies. This is a senior-level role suited to someone with deep expertise in risk, strong analytical and reporting capabilities, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Leading the review, development and implementation of the Risk Management Framework, associated policies and procedures, and operationalisation of the risk appetite statement
- Providing expert advice and coaching to stakeholders across the business to identify, assess and manage risks aligned with organisational strategy
- Designing and delivering second-line assurance plans and reporting on the effectiveness of key controls
- Overseeing risk system administration, including data integrity, reporting, and continuous improvement
- Analysing incidents and emerging risks—internal and external—to identify organisational impacts and recommend preventative actions
- Facilitating risk education and capability-building activities, including workshops and training
- Developing comprehensive and actionable risk reports for executives and governance committees
- Supporting the annual corporate insurance renewal process, claims assessment and ensuring alignment with risk appetite

**What We’re Looking For**
- Minimum five years’ experience in a senior risk advisory role, ideally within a large, complex organisation - Tertiary qualifications in Risk Management, Governance, Business Continuity, IT or a related discipline
- Deep understanding of contemporary risk management frameworks, enterprise risk systems, and compliance obligations
- Demonstrated ability to develop risk policies, operational risk registers, continuity plans and assurance strategies
- Strong analytical, facilitation and reporting skills, with an ability to translate complex risk concepts into practical solutions
- High-level written and verbal communication skills and proficiency across Microsoft Office and risk platforms
- Experience delivering risk education and engaging stakeholders at all levels
- Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. RMIA, BCI) is highly regarded
- Experience working within the not-for-profit or disability sector is highly regarded
