You are a highly organised and creative individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding student experiences. With a strong background in event coordination and stakeholder engagement, you thrive in fast-paced environments and are confident managing multiple priorities. Your communication and interpersonal skills enable you to build strong relationships across diverse groups, and you’re comfortable working collaboratively across teams to achieve shared goals.
You bring a student-centred mindset and enjoy contributing to programs that enhance student life both on campus and globally. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and take initiative to bring ideas to life—from planning and logistics to seamless delivery. Your ability to partner effectively with academic staff and operational teams makes you a trusted advocate for school-level student engagement priorities.

To be successful in this position, you’ll have as a minimum:
- Demonstrated ability to seamlessly lead all aspects of event management, from initial planning to flawless execution.
- Demonstrated communication, relationship building and negotiation skills with the ability to work collegiately with academic and professional staff, students, and external clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Demonstrated project management skills including planning, budgeting, and resource management.
- Proven understanding of engagement strategies in a tertiary education environment.
- Proven experience in leading and motivating stakeholders and broader staff groups to deliver high performance outcomes.
- Proven initiative and problem solving skills and ability to work independently to quickly extract the priority issues and, where appropriate, take action without specific direction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to conduct effective meetings and compose correspondence, minutes and action-oriented reports.
- Ability to adapt to changing software, digital technology and service delivery requirements with the ability to champion the implementation of new technology and ways of thinking.
