**About the role**:
Our **Business** **Development Coordinator** will utilise our new CRM and reservation system to help drive increased share of the expedition market and help transition World Challenge into the international curriculum and sports tour markets.
Supported by a Digital Marketing Manager, our BDC will be expected to generate leads and work to convert those that are produced through marketing activity into sales visits/meetings. BDCs will see a sales lead through to point of sale and then conduct a detailed handover to the relevant School Account Manager.
**What you will be doing**:
- Liaise appropriately with the sales team to help drive the outcome of a booking form, this may involve booking further meetings with the same or different contacts on behalf of the sales team.
- Collate data to report weekly on KPIs to ensure visibility on conversion rates, quality of leads and individual performance to better inform lead generation planning and the team’s performance management.
- Cold call prospect schools.
- Compile competitor profiles and disseminate intel updates on the main providers which should include detail on pricing, marketing material, product and sales tactics.
- Ensure the schools database is maintained and work with the Head of Sales to pro-actively develop customer profiling (segmentation of market).
- Compile data sets for prospective client groups as and when required and conduct follow up to e-campaigns.
**What we are looking for**:
- We are looking for someone passionate about Education and or Travel.
- Competitive and motivated by targets alongside excellent persuasion and negotiation skills to appeal to a wide-range of collaborators.
- Be pro-active, ready to take the initiative and think creatively to solve challenges
- Experience working on CRM systems is essential
- Competence handling incoming/outbound telephone calls with demonstrate initiative and an ability to work independently as well as being a team player who is prepared to get involved.
