About us
Fines and Enforcement Services (FES) is a business unit within the Department of Justice and Community Safety's Police, Fines and Crime Prevention group. FES is responsible for managing the end-to-end infringement system in Victoria.
About the role
The Finance Analyst - Purchasing & Compliance works in the FES Finance Team who are responsible for supporting FES's finance related processes, administering and monitoring civil compliance revenue, debt reporting, budget preparation and reporting, and monitoring and managing the accounting functions relating to the infringement management system.
**In this role, you will**:
- lead the monitoring and where required, maintenance of purchase orders within FES and reconcile and report on associated contracts, throughout their lifecycle, post creation to completion
- lead the provision of high-level business support and training to FES staff in relation to purchasing and contract administration
- support the monthly purchasing and contract reporting process to ensure compliance issues are identified and addressed with corrective action taken in a timely manner
- provide monthly reporting on all outstanding FES purchase orders for inclusion in the monthly FES Finance Report
- monitor and provide purchase order reporting on key FES contracts including the provision of relevant data and information to contract managers.
About you
- demonstrated high level experience and proficiency in the use, management and reconciliation of electronic procurement and contract management systems (Oracle iProcurement, Zycus or similar)
- demonstrated high level experience in purchasing, accounts payable, procurement and contract management (within a Government Department or agency is preferable)
- excellent literacy and numeracy skills, including ability to handle budgetary matters, spreadsheets, and databases as required.

- COVID-19 digital certificate or ATAGI exemption certificate (available via your myGov account)
- Your immunisation history statement (available via your myGov account)
Other documentation outside the above will not be accepted as evidence of having received your COVID-19 vaccine doses.
