That is why the delivery of property acquisition, leasing and relocations services and supporting systems need to be completely transformed to improve renter satisfaction and deliver greater value.
The Manager, Property Portfolio Improvement will partner with the Property and Portfolio Management leadership team in developing, stage-gating and delivering a pipeline of tactical and continuous improvement projects across the Unit. The role provides significant opportunity for innovation in the development and delivery of continuous improvement projects that have clear milestones, outcomes, project cost/benefit analysis and defined timeframes for various improvement projects including areas of policy, process and systems. As a change lead, the role involves maintaining collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, the provision of professional advice, the development of strategic frameworks, robust procurement processes and risk management.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
1. Manage and oversee the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including:
(a) Researching, preparing, and executing project business cases and plans within resourcing, timeline, and budget parameters.
(b) Preparing and presenting quality reports and work briefings in accordance with the department's project management processes.
(c) Evaluating tender bids and participating in liaison and negotiation associated with tender processes.
(d) Contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of projects to ensure departmental objectives are met.
2. Identify innovative opportunities and develop and implement complex project plans across the Property and Portfolio Management Unit that address barriers to success.
3. Develop clear governance and a stage-gate process for project and pipeline development and delivery that considers change management principles, risk, cost/benefit and organisational priorities.
