Successful Global International Freight Forwarder and Logistics organisation has a temporary assignment available to start ASAP for a period 6 months with the potential to extend.
- Prior experience within the freight forwarding industry.
- Proficiency in freight forwarding processes, operational knowledge, and customer service practices.

**Your day-to-day responsibilities will include**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of accounts, catering to their needs promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate daily/weekly status reports to keep stakeholders informed and operations running smoothly.
- Collaborate with origin stations to coordinate freight bookings effectively.
- Handle customer inquiries, order follow-ups, and tracking, ensuring timely responses and resolutions.
- Keep customers informed about shipment statuses and proactively address any exceptions that may arise.
- Generate ad-hoc quotes for both air and sea shipments, meeting customers' diverse needs.
- Anticipate potential issues and provide proactive solutions to ensure smooth operations.
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with assigned customers to foster long-term partnerships.

**Location**: Banksmeadow, NSW

**Hourly rate**: Will depend on your experience.
