**Remediation Consultant**

**Looking for a role that allows you to take deep ownership of your work?**

You will be working on diverse remediation projects across multiple business streams such as Underwriting, Credit Operations, Technical, Information Technology and Risk & Compliance by reviewing policies for possible breaches, refunds, corrections and reconciliations in accordance with AAL Underwriting Framework and Strategy.

**You'll be responsible for**:

- Revieing policies for possible breaches, refunds, corrections and reconciliations.
- Undertaking policy remediation under compliance breach.
- Framing status reports and analysing statistical data.
- Engage Project lead and/or Team Manager for assistance in progressing complex remediation and regularly following up.
- Effectively manage workflows and phone queues to ensure delivery of quality products
- Accurately interpret, anticipate and provide solutions to customers’ needs from available information to design sustainable responses to suit customer circumstances and address their needs.

**Important to your success**:

- Comprehensive understanding of relevant regulatory and/or legislative compliance requirements that affect the organisation
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and ability to optimise business value to customers by delivering high quality services and positive customer experiences to sustain and enhance the customer base
- Proven[BM(AIL1] analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions
- Pay high attention to detail by completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy and has the ability to quickly identify errors or inconsistencies within information
- Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for decision making
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact and influence[BM(AIL2].
