Join our team and play an essential role in supporting the Human Resources and Payroll team in providing of timely, accurate, and efficient administrative services for Bridgestone Australia Ltd. Australia and New Zealand and its subsidiary companies.

This role is ideal for those who are interested in starting a career in HR and/or Payroll, or returning to the workforce, and have completed or are undertaking a related qualification (i.e. a Certificate IV in HR).

**Key responsibilities include**:
HR Administration
- Accurate and efficient data entry of employee information.
- Preparation of letters and correspondence for employees, guided by HR Business Partners.
- Providing support and backfill for the receptionist/HR Officer as required.

Payroll Administration
- Data entry of payroll information, including timesheets.
- Maintenance of employee leave records and employee information.
- Calculation of pay adjustments, terminations & expense reimbursements.
- Support with end to end payroll processing, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and company policies.
- Administration of employee records and electronic filing.

Customer Service & Continuous Improvement
- Build excellent rapport and provide prompt responses to queries through verbal or written responses.
- Uphold company standards and ensure advice aligns with company policies and procedures.
- Review processes and suggest improvements for efficiency.
- Support Bridgestone’s Vision and sustainability initiatives, complying with HSE requirements and demonstrate TRACE behaviours.

**About you**

This role suits someone who enjoys administration, has excellent attention to detail and well-developed analytical skills. You should have a strong focus on customer service and outstanding interpersonal skills.

To be considered for this role, you should also demonstrate:

- Accurate data entry skills.
- A sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with payroll or HR software is an advantage but not essential.
- Personal alignment with Bridgestone's TRACE behaviours (Transparency, Respect, Accountability, Collaboration, Embrace Change).
