**The Company**
Our client is a market leading FMCG business whose products are found in most households across Australia. They are seeking a strong Finance Analyst to partner across various commercial teams to support GMs, Directors and the wider finance team with a focus on profit improvement, cost optimization & driving business growth.

**The Role**
Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, the main responsibility of this role will be the 2IC to the Commercial Finance Manager, and to provide reporting, insights and fact-based business decision support to the business. Other duties include (but are not limited to):

- Business partner with the Head of Sales, Manufacturing, Procurements and other functional leaders
- Produce accurate and timely monthly accounts and commentaries
- Analyse monthly results including variances against budget, forecasts and previous estimates
- Build financial models
- New and existing product costing
- month end activities
- Prepare the annual budget, produce quarterly re-forecast and provide commentary
- Process improvement projects for Operations
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are prepared and adequately supported

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- CA/CPA Qualified
- Experience working in FMCG / retail or manufacturing environment (desired)
- Experience analyst or in an FP&A role (up to 2 years)
- Strong communication / analytical skills
- Ability to business partner with a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to navigate financial systems (Pronto and Power BI) including advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint (including advanced pivots and formulas)
