**About this opportunity**:
As part of the finance team, you will prepare management reporting, drive planning and forecasting for the business and deliver critical commercial insights. The appointee will play a pivotal role in providing strategic financial advice to all business units and the key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements for presentation to senior management
- Conduct financial investigations and analysis to assist in the preparation of business cases and tender submissions
- Maintain and analyze business cash flow to ensure financial sustainability of the organization
- Provide advice on implementation and improvement of financial information systems and workflows to maintain internal controls
- Produce reports and conduct checks on financial risk management plans across all capital projects
- Lead all the accounting month end tasks and assist with any statutory reporting tasks
- Conduct internal audits and resolve any queries from external audits
- Liaise with external financial institutions including bankers, insurers and external tax advisors for effective financial management

**About you**:

- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in a Finance Analyst role, preferably specializing in infrastructure projects
- Possess a thorough understanding of the Australian Accounting Standards and concept of financial modelling
- High proficiency in using financial software tools such as Xero, Workbench, Excel, Power BI etc.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Knowledge/experience in Water industry will be advantageous

**Salary**: $74,710.65 - $127,788.35 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
