A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced, motivated, hands on hospitality professional to lead and manage our satellite venue Vikings Sports Club. Our focus is ensuring member and patron experience is exceptional, we love our locals and regulars, so it is important for us to create a community within our team and venue. We are looking for someone who is committed to embedding themselves in the team and venue, connecting authentically with the community.

Working with an experienced Leadership Team, this is a great opportunity for a passionate professional with strong leadership skills and a great mentoring approach, to deliver on key goals to further enhance the Club's sustainability and profitability and ensure the club continues to be an ongoing success.

**Responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Managing licensed club premises, including cleaning, security, repairs and maintenance
- Excellent product knowledge across all departments including food, beverage and gaming and functions
- Ability to recognise areas for growth, change or improvement
- Ensuring that our focus is always on the member and patron experience
- Maintaining a vibrant and inviting atmosphere, ensuring our venue is always immaculate.
- Focus on providing outstanding customer service
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation
- Management of stock control and inventory management
- Building a high-performing team
- Budgeting, forecasting, profit and loss management,
- Negotiation and networking
- Business planning and project presentation
- General governance and risk reporting

**Essential Criteria**:

- Strong financial, analytical and operational management experience
- Inspiring and influential leadership and management skills and experience in mentoring and developing team members
- Sound knowledge of Gaming, Security and Food and Beverage environments including knowledge of current legislation
- Highly organised and ability to maintain and deliver consistency in service
- Previous venue management experience
- Ability to work shift work, weekends and public holidays if required
