**Role Description**

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Executive at Faunatech in Sydney, NSW.

The Business Development Executive contributes to the organisation by (1) meeting, virtually and physically with customers for product trainings and relationship building; (2) representing the company and its products at symposia, conferences and trade shows. The position requires strong attention to detail, on-time follow-up and follow-through with customer and opportunity management.

**Knowledge and experience**
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency in use of bat detectors, wildlife audio recorders and sonograms preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft, Google Suite and other IT tools.
- Understanding/experience of going to conferences, tradeshows etc is preferred.
- Basic understanding about Faunatech products (full training given).
- Appreciation of the strategic importance to the business of relationships with organisations and individuals.
- Experience with CRM, preferably HubSpot or NetSuite.

**Education**

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in the zoological and/or environmental sciences. Minimum 5 years in-field sales experience essential.

**Working conditions**

Work is on-site at Rydalmere, NSW performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.

The position requires regular travel predominantly within Australia and New Zealand with the ability to work full-time in Australia. Faunatech cannot undertake via sponsorships.
