Electrical Team Leader

WesTrac is seeking an energetic and team orientated Automotive Electrician to join our team at Tomago as a leading hand within our Rebuilds Workshop. As the leading hand you will support your crew and the wider workshop to deliver CAT quality standard rebuilt machines to some of NSW’s largest mining customers.

You will be required to perform installations, repairs and inspections on a range of Caterpillar equipment, such as;
- 789D, 793D and 793F off-highway trucks
- D10 and D11 dozers

**Roster and Remuneration**

This role will be offered on a permanent, full time basis on the following roster;
- Rotating Days/Afternoons: 2 weeks of days followed by 2 weeks of nights
- shifts are 10.5 hours in length, Monday to Friday
- Hourly Rate: $54 OT Rate: $82 (paid on any hours worked in excess of 50 hours)
- Annual: $142, 064 (before super) $156, 980 (after super)

**Desired Skills & Experience**
- Cert III Automotive Electrical (Australian Trade Recognised)
- Leadership experience with the ability to build a cohesive team with a common goal
- Demonstrated ability to delegate tasks and organise work teams to perform repairs, maintenance and inspections on a range of customer machines
- Adequate knowledge of Caterpillar equipment
- Experienced in Caterpillar programs SIS and ET
- Previous employment by a Caterpillar dealership will be highly regarded
- Solutions focused mindset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong time management skills
