**About the Role**:
AssetOn is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced **Electrical Planner** to join our team at a mine site in the Hunter Valley. In this key role, you will be accountable for developing, communicating, and monitoring the short-term electrical maintenance plan to ensure optimal equipment availability in alignment with the long-term maintenance plan. You will collaborate with Coordinators, Engineers, and Supervisors to monitor performance against the plan and help deliver on-site operational goals.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys the challenges involved in maintenance, implementing preventative strategies, and managing small projects while working in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and manage the short-term electrical maintenance plan to ensure optimal equipment availability.
- Monitor and track performance against the maintenance plan.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Coordinators, Engineers, and Supervisors, to ensure seamless execution.
- Implement preventative maintenance strategies and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Provide electrical planning expertise and support on small projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operating systems on site.
**Skills & Experience Required**:
- Demonstrated maintenance experience within CHPP (Coal Handling & Preparation Plant) or HME (Heavy Mobile Equipment) operations.
- Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Outlook, Word, Excel, and MS Projects.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders from various departments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of budget and cost control processes.
