Do you have a passion for food and love working with people? We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Food Service Assistants to bring care and a smile to every shift.

The Food Service Assistant assists in the preparation, delivery and service of meals to patients and staff to a high standard of excellence.

The role is offered on a Casual basis.

The Position:
- Ensure that direct working relationships are established and maintained with colleagues and internal/external customers.- Adhere to the principles of the Equal Opportunity Act and Code of Conduct.- Participate as part of a team and maintain a high standard of staff morale.- Interpret menu cards for meal service to patients.- Assist with the washing of cutlery, crockery and glassware.- Assist with the washing up of large heavy-duty pots, pans and other kitchen utensils.- Observe and practice all aspects of food, kitchen and personal hygiene.- Assist with general kitchen hygiene, washing of walls, floors and refrigerators etc., and other areas as requested

You will have good interpersonal skills with the ability to use initiative, demonstrate reliability and work with mínimal supervision and guidance.
