Your role at St John of God Bunbury Hospital

The Food Service Assistant assists in the preparation, delivery and service of meals to patients and staff to a high standard of excellence.

The role is offered on a Casual basis.

The Position:
- Ensures that direct working relationships are established and maintained with colleagues and internal/external customers.- Adheres to the principles of the Equal Opportunity Act and Code of Conduct.- Participates as part of a team and maintain a high standard of staff morale.- Interprets menu cards for meal service to patients.- Assists with the washing of cutlery, crockery and glassware.- Assists with the washing up of large heavy duty pots, pans and other kitchen utensils.- Observes and practices all aspects of food, kitchen and personal hygiene.- Assists with general kitchen hygiene, washing of walls, floors and refrigerators etc., and other areas as requested

You will have good interpersonal skills with the ability to use initiative, demonstrate reliability and work with mínimal supervision and guidance.

We can offer you- Salary: $37.19 to $38.51 (including casual loading), plus 11.5% superannuation- Casual position- Salary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses as well as options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as:
