**About the opportunity**:
**The Principal Data Analyst is responsible for leading the delivery of specialised data analysis, extraction, and reporting for Super SA. They will provide technical leadership across strategic projects, business initiatives, and AI-focused efforts. Drive the development of data tools and models to address business process gaps, support self-service analytics, and ensure timely, accurate data delivery for strategic planning and operational improvement.

Additionally, they will lead the implementation of Super SA’s data strategy and roadmap, consult with senior leaders to align solutions with stakeholder needs, and contribute to sound data governance and AI usage planning. Through advanced analytics, training, and best practice development, enhance Super SA’s data capabilities and service delivery.

**About you**
**Working under general direction, you will be highly organised and bring extensive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and information technology.

To be successful, you must address the selection criteria below in a cover letter:

- Extensive experience leading stakeholder collaboration to establish and maintain strong working relationships to effectively analyse complex situations and achieve suitable technical outcomes using data, analytics and reporting.
- Significant customer service, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to influence and work collaboratively with stakeholders in the design of effective, value-add BI solutions and products.
- Extensive knowledge of trends in the IT industry related to data management and reporting practices, tools, methods, architecture and design.
- Significant experience in leading the technological development of complex BI development functions, data modelling, creating reports, dashboards or data visualisations in Microsoft Azure, Power BI or a similar tool

**Remuneration**
**ASO8 - $121,107 min - $125,679 max per annum, plus superannuation
