The Regional Technology Specialist is a critical role within the McCain business that provides direct operational support to ensure our plants and offices remain operational and that our team have the tools they need to complete their jobs.

The role is based at our St Kilda Rd office and working as part of the Regional APAC team. In this role, you will assist users across the region as required, working closely with other RTS roles in-country.

**About the role**
- Provide onsite support for a variety of IT hardware and software, including personal computer hardware/software, network hardware, Warehouse Management equipment and peripherals
- Perform requested onsite tasks to aid in the troubleshooting or remediation of problems and installation of new equipment
- Ensures McCain IS standards and policies are followed and report exceptions to the appropriate Global IS departments and/or Regional IT Services Manager
- Develop a sustainable and productive working relationship with end users as a highly visible face in IS
- Monitor system backups, perform restoration of data, perform mobile phone account administration (add/modify/delete), raise purchase requests, obtain quotes, receive orders and liaise with local contractors

**About you**
- Relevant qualifications in IT or equivalent, preferably A+ certifications
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar technical role
- Self-sufficient with experiencing working autonomously and as part of a small team
- Comprehensive IP networking skills including across Wireless LAN’s
- Awareness of information security threats and trends, as well as determining proper remediation tactics
