What’s the opportunity?
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the QLD State Sales Manager is charged with maximising our sales potential and crafting sales strategy to drive growth whilst leading a small team to succeed. Through your leadership you'll drive yourself and your team to acquire new accounts as well as retain and develop existing accounts.
As a our State Sales Manager you’ll be responsible for;
- Developing targeted sales strategies to achieve organisational sales goals and revenues;
- Identifying emerging markets and market shifts, providing insight to the business on new products;
- Driving customer acquisition and revenue growth targets, with the objective of maximising commercially viable business outcomes;
- Retention of existing customer base, providing outstanding customer service and developing opportunities for further growth;
- Building long-term strategic business relationships throughout the coffee industry utilising these relationships to identify and win new accounts;
- Ensuring current and prospective customers have access to our in-house, industry-leading specialty coffee training and education;
- Lead and develop a team of passionate, engaged and successful staff;
- Track, collate and interpret sales figures, analysing data to identify sales opportunities.
Who are we looking for?
- Demonstrated ability driving successful sales teams through leadership and accountability;
- Effective sales skills in negotiating and closing deals, especially in B2B sales;
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans in response to market activity;
- Motivation, a sense of initiative and strong business acumen;
- Analytical mindset with accurate record keeping, reporting and administration;
- Understanding of the unique Queensland market;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and relationships quickly;
- A high level of organisation, time-management and problem-solving skills;
- The ability to work both as part of a wider national team and autonomously;
- Knowledge of hospitality, café operations and the speciality coffee industry;
- Passion and thirst for coffee knowledge and excellence;
- Experience with NetSuite advantageous.
