Sydney, Australia Security Centric Full time

**Location**: Sydney
**Division**: Service Delivery
- Advise and shape client cyber security journeys
- Reporting to a Managing Director that wants to hear and support your ideas

Lead a skilled team delivering services and solutions across projects and long-term managed services clients.

About us

Not all cybersecurity consultancies are alike. At Security Centric, we know that supporting you, what you value, and the way that you like to work is an integral part of making sure you're going to love what you do - just like we do.

Whether it's the importance of being a part of a high performing team, the flexibility to work from where you want, a desire for contribution that's not restrictive to one aspect of cybersecurity and business, or a desire for continual learning and improvement combined with guidance, our individual-focused values will ensure you're given opportunities to grow, all while providing exceptional cybersecurity services to our clients and partners.

Founded 11 years ago, our purpose is to provide business leaders with peach of mind with regards to cyber security though providing an Australian-based team of consultants and skilled engineers that act as an internal, outsourced, information security team.

We have long term engagements and partner with our clients which means we don’t delivery transactional pieces of work. This means you not only get the variety of working with a consulting firm, but you are able to see the results of your work as our clients' organisations grow.

Our people and culture is important, which is why we invest in our team members and provide benefits such as a recognition program, doona days, and additional annual leave.

About the role

This is a senior consulting role, reporting to the Managing Director and working hands-on consulting with clients and leading a team of engineers and consultants.

In this role, you will lead and execute design and implementation of security technologies such as threat detection and response, network security, system hardening using proven frameworks, identity and access management, advanced endpoint solutions and related functional solutions. Beginning at the presales stage and continuing through to delivery, acceptance and ongoing management.

A key component of the position is the ability to identify the opportunities for solving client problems. This is through a combination of in-person (face to face or online) consulting, developing and presenting business cases for OPEX and CAPEX investments, and monitoring the delivery of projects through check-ins with the client and the internal delivery team.

This role has a clear progression path and will be supported to develop into the organisation’s Technology Director, which also includes options for equity and profit share.

About You

You have experience in security architecture design and solution implementation - this is a requirement for consideration for this role.

In addition, you possess:

- At least 5 years of professional services delivery experience for enterprises, ideally in a cyber-security setting
- An ability to coordinate, manage, motivate and inspire the internal delivery team to achieve great client outcomes
- Experience in end-to-end project delivery of large, complex or strategically significant engagements
- Strong consulting skills, with proven ability to communicate effectively with end-users, specialist engineers, the C-suite through to business leaders and boards.
- Experience in participating in strategy development and thought leadership.
- Thorough understanding of the cyber security considerations of mid-sized enterprise environments.
- The ability to to communicate internally and externally at both the practitioner and executive levels (that means you can switch between talking nerd and talking business)

This role will be based in Sydney and will have a mixture of office working, home working and some travel to client sites.
