Position Overview

Looking for a Cyber Security Service Delivery Coordinator to play a vital role in supporting the seamless delivery of cyber security services to our clients. This position acts as a key liaison between clients, technical teams, and service delivery management, ensuring that all service activities are coordinated effectively and client expectations are consistently met. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining high standards of service quality whilst supporting the operational efficiency of our cyber security service offerings.

Key Responsibilities

Service Coordination and Operations

The Cyber Security Service Delivery Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day delivery of cyber security services, including managed security services, threat monitoring, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and security advisory engagements. This involves scheduling service activities, coordinating resources, and ensuring that all deliverables are completed within agreed timeframes. The coordinator will maintain oversight of service requests and work orders, tracking progress and ensuring timely completion whilst keeping stakeholders informed throughout the service delivery lifecycle.

Client Communication and Support

The role requires regular interaction with clients to coordinate service activities, respond to enquiries, and provide updates on service delivery status. The coordinator will serve as a point of contact for routine client communications, ensuring professional and timely responses to all client interactions. This includes preparing and distributing client reports, coordinating client meetings and service reviews, and escalating complex issues or concerns to the Service Delivery Manager or technical leads as appropriate.

Incident and Change Coordination

The Cyber Security Service Delivery Coordinator will support incident management processes by coordinating the response to security incidents, tracking incident resolution progress, and ensuring appropriate communication with affected clients. The role also involves coordinating planned changes and maintenance activities, ensuring that clients are notified in advance and that all changes are properly scheduled and documented to minimise service disruption.

Required Skills and Experience

Essential Requirements

Candidates must possess strong organisational and time management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to interact professionally with clients and technical teams. A genuine interest in cyber security with a foundational understanding of security concepts, threats, and technologies is required. Previous experience in a coordination, administrative, or client support role, preferably within technology services, professional services, or cyber security environments, is highly desirable. Proficiency in using service management tools, ticketing systems, and standard business applications including Microsoft Office Suite is necessary. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in documentation and reporting, along with problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

Desirable Requirements

Familiarity with cyber security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or Essential Eight would be advantageous. Experience with IT service management methodologies including ITIL is beneficial, as is knowledge of service level agreement management and performance reporting. Understanding of incident management and change management processes would be valued, along with any relevant certifications in cyber security, IT service management, or project coordination.
