Audit Manager

We are an expanding Queensland based firm with a team of approximately 70 people across our locations in Brendale and on the Sunshine Coast. The SRJ Walker Wayland team services SME's, non-profit organisations, corporations, partnerships and individuals across areas of Accounting, Audit & Assurance, Business Solutions and Business Advisory.

We are looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join our team in a full-time role, based in our Brendale office with flexibility for working from home.

In this role you will work closely with the Director and other management members of audit, as well as the broader SRJWW team. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring we can continue to assist in providing top quality external audit services to clients across various industries. This role will requirement communicating directly with clients and working with clients off-site.

Duties for this role will include:

- Working closely with Audit Leadership Team to ensure client work is completed to a high standard
- Executing audit engagements ensuring key deliverables are met
- Management of a portfolio of clients
- Management of team members both on and offshore
- Mentoring of team members in the audit team
- Business development activities with both existing and prospective clients
- Travel to and from clients around Queensland as and when required
- Participation in firm internal and external training sessions
- Have a minimum of 5 years’ audit experience
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ audit management experience
- Have completed Bachelor degree or higher
- Be CA / CPA qualified
- Have a sound knowledge of Australian/International Accounting and Auditing standards
- Be able to control the audit process from planning through to completion
- Experience in the use of Caseware audit software is preferred
- Display excellent communication skills and be able to establish long-lasting relationships with clients
- Have proven people management and leadership experience
- Have strong organisational and time management skills
- Show a strong degree of initiative with the ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Display enthusiasm and self-motivation

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
