**About the role**:
We are looking for a Head of Risk, or Risk Manager who is a market risk specialist, to join our fast-growing APAC team. You will be responsible for the risk function in APAC, reporting directly to the Global Chief Risk Officer and company directors. This role involves high paced interaction with Akuna's trading floor and requires a dynamic, quantitative mind. **What you'll do**:

- Be a leader in our global effort to have first class, dynamic risk surveillance tools
- Represent Risk for the APAC region, reporting on risk metrics to senior management both locally & globally
- Collaborate with trader management to control risk while optimizing revenue
- Support the company's expansion into new markets and activities
- Build, manage and develop a team of Risk Analysts and Risk Developers

**What you'll bring**:

- Previous substantial professional finance experience, ideally in an options or automated trading environment
- Derivatives and financial market knowledge
- Ability to work independently and think through complex and detailed problems
- Previous experience managing or leading a team of Risk professionals
- Bachelor's degree or higher with an analytical concentration
- Numerical and quantitative fluency
