Your role at St John of God

Reporting to the Manager Corporate Services & Finance, the Finance Analyst role is a varied role, tasked in driving financial performance across our service delivery centres and specialist services in WA & Victoria. Primarily, the Finance Analyst will build strong finance business partnerships, and work collaboratively with the management team to deliver in-depth business and financial analysis, and present data driven insights and recommendations. The role is based at our Head Office located in Osborne Park.

The Position:
- Responsible for coordinating and executing the month-end financial processes as well as providing daily, weekly and monthly performance reports on operating costs, Capex, balance sheet, and cash flow items.- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes and serve as a financial business partner to several cost centre managers.- Assist Services managers in the preparation of Capital Expenditure Authority submissions.- Prepare Capital Expenditure Reporting.- Prepare analysis / costing analysis for each of our cost centres including assistance with financial modelling assumptions.- Assist in benchmarking activities and development of financial metrics to support management of the business as required by the CEO and Manager Corporate Services & Finance.

Essential requirements- A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.- Degree qualified, together with CA / CPA qualification.- Ability to quickly grasp and understand customer needs to deliver their requirements.- Experience in delivering budgets and forecasts within a large and complex organisation.- Proven stakeholder management, communication and inter personal skills.- A positive and flexible can do attitude with the ability to handle multiple activities.- Practical and creative approaches to providing analysis and problem solving.- Strong technical skills with the ability to extract, understand and use data, analyses management information and provide insight to enable fact based decisions.- Strong computer skills.

We can offer you- Salary: $96,036 to $117,297 + 11% superannuation- Permanent part-time, working 22.8 hours per week- Salary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses as well as options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as:
