Full Time Accounts Payable role in Education Sector

**Your new company**
Located in North Hobart, this well-known school is looking for a new Accounts Payable / Procurement Officer based in their head office. **Your new role**
Due to internal movement, the school is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer, who can also perform Purchasing and Procurement duties. You will be responsible for the high volume, end-to-end processing of accounts payable, and manage purchasing. Duties will include but are not limited to:

- Communicate with staff and suppliers regarding accounts, quotes while resolving payment queries
- Manage purchases and ensure reconciliations are entered on a timely basis
- Maintain and complete Asset Register
- Using MYOB and ProSpend to manage the end-to-end accounts process, and maintain vendor master file
- Assist with the development and implementation of procurement systems
- Identify, maintain, and develop business relationships

**What you'll need to succeed**
You’ll have previous experience within a high-volume Accounts Payable environment, be systems savvy and have excellent communication skills. You will pick up new processes quickly and exercise initiative. You'll enjoy a challenge, possess strong Microsoft excel skills, and enjoy the opportunity to implement and improve systems as required.
