An exciting opportunity currently exists for a passionate health data domain expert to join our Performance Reporting and Decision Support. Division.

Austin Health is embarking on an exciting major transformation of it’s data-warehouse with a view to build and create a single trustworthy source for reporting, analytics and research.

We are looking for a health data expert with experience in defining business glossaries and business rules that the business users will understand. You will be involved with various working groups and stakeholders across the organisation to define and put together a business data structure that will be the organisational view of key clinical and non clinical areas.

**Key responsibilities inlcude**
- **
Serve as the key contact with stakeholders in defining business terms, rules and definitions.**:

- ** Leading negotiations between varying clinical and operational business areas to identify and agree a unified and common approach to terminology.**:

- ** Be conversant with laws like Privacy Principles and how this will shape and strucutre the data management platform.**:

- ** Be responsible for defining the data domain structures in the new centralised data management platform.**

**Key selection criteria include**
- ** Exceptional communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise at all levels of the organisation**:

- ** Working knowledge and understanding of data management tools.**:

- ** Well-developed documentation and business writing skills**:

- Analytical & problem-solving skills with good attention to detail
- ** Knowledge and experience in working with large and complex public health data sets**:

- Understanding of data governance and Health Privacy Principles
