Fantastic 2 year fixed term opportunity to join the VBA’s data office as a Data Analyst.

A fantastic opportunity to utilise your extensive Data Analyst and be part of an organisation wide Systems Transformation program.

The primary responsibility of the Data Analyst is to continue to build, expand and maintain the existing Azure data analytics platform. The Data Analyst will work with structured and unstructured data and has an understanding of modern analytics capabilities including data models and PowerBI.

The Data Analyst role will report to the Chief Data Officer, Data Office. The Data Office reports into the Building System Technology (BST) division. The BST is responsible for the delivery of a complex digital transformation uplift across the organisation. The digital transformation uplift will rationalise and upgrade legacy systems onto modern best-of-breed computing platforms and deliver advanced data surveillance and analytics.

**Who we are looking for**:

- Extensive demonstrated professional experience as a Data Analyst, including high level proficiency in the use of excel.
- Experience in delivering insightful analysis & Power BI reporting solutions on the Azure platform.
- Experience with Data Modelling (Data Structures, SQL, Data Analytics, EDM).
- Experience with Azure DevOps Repos, branching methods and Data Pipelines.
- Ability to be pro-active, professional, customer-focused, organised, and self-managed to deliver a consistently high level of output and service in a deadline and fast-paced, driven environment.
