u&u. Recruitment Partners have been engaged by a well-respected and community focused Not-For-Profit organisation in the Home and Aged Care industry. With operations across Australia, they support the elder generation to continue living in their own home, providing customised support for their needs.

What will U be doing?

Working remotely and reporting through to the Executive Director of Finance, the Head of Finance will play a key leadership role and has responsibility for the strategic planning, operational implementation and ongoing management of all Finance activities.

Assist the ED to develop, lead and deliver the financial strategy;
Play a leading role in the development and execution of annual budget;
Provide ongoing financial analysis and advice to the ED on current and future financial trends, issues and opportunities;
Lead, coach and mentor three key Finance Department heads and their reports;
Develop, implement and maintain a financial management framework and financial models;
Discovery, assessment, development and implementation of improved Finance team processes utilising TechnologyOne and related databases;
Work closely with peer Head of Divisions to discover, develop, assess and implement a fit-for-purpose range of financial services to provide quality information and actionable insights; and

Identify and support professional development opportunities for all members of the Finance team.

What will U be offered?

Salary packaging of $15,900; and

The opportunity to assist in rebuilding a finance function.

What experience do U need?

Tertiary qualifications in accounting, business, commerce, economics or a related discipline;
5-10+ years' executive or senior leadership experience in a senior financial management role, including 5+ years setting financial strategy;
Current membership with CA/CPA or equivalent professional association;
Sound knowledge of Australian taxation requirements;
Extensive knowledge and understanding about the In-Home Care industry and government funding;
TechnologyOne experience is highly desirable (though not essential); and

Proven ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team of finance professionals with a diverse geographical split.
