We are looking for a proactive, self-motivated, and personable individual who will be responsible for maintaining a consistent and timely delivery of CMDB tasks which include CMDB design, CI to CI relationship mapping, Service to CI relationship mapping, CMDB Reconciliation, CI Exception Reporting, governance of processes for verification and continued maintenance of the CMDB accuracy whilst championing the delivery of the Configuration Management processes.-
**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Design a Configuration Management Service Delivery methodology, process, and policy.
- Responsible for the implementation of the Configuration Management model.
- Create the communication plan and promote effective use of the Configuration Management Model to support all ITSM functions.
- Interfaces with other processes and/or business functions to ensure they can leverage the benefits provided by the Configuration Management process, capturing the relevant CI’s for each business unit.
- Identify opportunities for improvement with respect to tools, training, process, procedures and work instructions.
- Govern and validate all the updates to the Configuration Items (CI) within the CMDB. This includes updating and creating desktop assets within the CMDB and actioning requests to update assets in the CMDB.
- Ensure that any corrective action identified in Process and/or Database audits are carried out.
- Provide expertise in CI and Service Relationship Mapping.
- Able to contribute to ITSM integration projects
- Produce reports and Management information, including impact analysis reports and Configuration status reports

**About You**:

- Relevant tertiary or technical qualifications.
- Minimum ITIL V3 or 4 Foundations
- A demonstrated ‘can-do’, pro-active approach with the ability to understand the business
- Proven experience in IT Service Management in an ITIL-aligned environment
- Strong knowledge of Configuration and Asset Management
- Experience in a support and operations environment, utilising service management software such as ServiceNOW, JIRA and Confluence is desirable
- Experience with Agile methodologies and ways of working.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the proven ability to liaise and negotiate
- effectively with people internal and external to the organisation
- Self-driven and able to work independently, with good planning and organisational skills, with the
- ability to meet deadlines within short time frames and to manage changing priorities
- Able to adapt and operate in a fast-paced changing environment
- Demonstrated experience and ability to operate collaboratively in a team, contributing positively to
- team operations and working relationships
