What You'll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

  • Manage and manipulate asset data to develop cost-effective maintenance strategies, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and synchronisation across systems.

  • Oversee maintenance and safety activities in alignment with Australian standards and Defence requirements, while ensuring all work complies with asset data system configurations.

  • Lead the development and governance of tools used for service delivery and reporting and provide technical input into internal and client-facing performance reports.

  • Track contract KPIs, support analytical reporting, and drive continuous improvement through data trends, issue tracking, and system-based reviews.

  • Build a collaborative team culture, develop technical capability, manage relationships with Defence Directorates, and support subcontractor selection and issue resolution.

What You'll Bring

  • Extensive experience in asset data management, systems configuration, and IT systems, with strong knowledge of asset management and technical compliance frameworks.

  • Proficient in CMMS configuration, maintenance planning, and performance data analysis, with expertise in computer-based systems for scheduling and reporting.

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or Engineering, with desirable post-graduate studies in Asset Management or Systems Engineering, plus mandatory site access credentials (e.g. White Card).

  • Must be able to obtain and retain Defence Security Clearance, with prior experience using Defence estate systems (e.g. GEMS) and performance frameworks (e.g. MIC, PMF).

  • Demonstrated skills in team leadership, stakeholder engagement, contract governance, systems thinking, and performance analysis.
