We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Human Resource Generalist to join our People Support Team.

The HR Generalist will be reporting to the People Support Manager and will be responsible for advising and supporting the retail and manufacturing businesses in all areas of human resources across Australia and New Zealand.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Offer assistance to the People Support team regarding all aspects of the employee experience, including recruiting, onboarding, performance evaluation, employee involvement, work health and safety, learning and development opportunities, and personnel plans.
- Join forces with HR Business Partners in both Manufacturing and Retail to resolve any employment relation issues.
- Investigate, guide and support HR Business Partners with Enterprise Bargaining as needed.
- Help maintain a culture of compliance and enhance the quality of people management systems and processes.
- Contribute to standardizing Company policies and procedures in accordance with Documentation guidelines.
- Participate in the assessment and upkeep of Company policies and procedures to ensure they comply with legislative requirements (Australia and New Zealand) and are based on best practices.
- Contribute to monthly performance reports on general people management, L&D, and recruitment.
- Support the development of recruitment strategies, systems, and reporting that follow best practices and meet the requirements of each role.
- Update and maintain onboarding and training materials, as well as keep track of training attendance and completion records.
- Participate in the planning and execution of WHS, L&D, and Employee Engagement initiatives across both Retail and Manufacturing businesses.
- Work with departments to ensure project work is completed efficiently and within budget.
- Promote a culture that prioritizes delivering efficient People Support Services

**Requirements**:

- 2-4+ years’ experience in a HR generalist or similar role.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in human resources, law, psychology, workplace relations or related fields.
- Passion and flair for working in and supporting engaged and productive teams, with proven successful outcomes.
- Experience in stakeholder management and proven ability to manage work deadlines and task prioritisation.
- Professional communication with internal and external stakeholders, valuing the integrity of all individuals, and maintaining trust and confidentiality.
- Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team to reach company and department goals.
- Excellent time management and task prioritization skills to suit the needs of the business.
- Attention to detail and care with all tasks related to the role and other areas that impact the security and confidentiality of the staff and company in general.
- Extensive knowledge of employment law and relevant legislation in both Australia and New Zealand.
- Experience in recruitment.
- Strong ethical compass
