The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to step into a Service Manager role within our established motor claims team, supporting the Elders partnership. As a Service Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving team performance, nurturing a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring outstanding service delivery every step of the way.

Your new role- Lead and support daily operations, guiding the team on claims handling, policy interpretation, and quality assurance.- Drive continuous improvement by developing efficient processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.- Contribute to business planning and support the delivery of strategic objectives through innovation and collaboration.- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, while managing complaints and supporting investigations when needed.- Oversee claims decisions, including setting reserves and authorising payments within your authority.- Mentor and coach team members, sharing technical expertise to support their growth and development.

About you- A minimum of 4 years’ experience within a leadership role- Experience within motor claims is highly regarded but not essential- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and customer-first mindset- A strong understanding of customer service principles and a commitment to service excellence- The ability to navigate and work across multiple systems with ease
