**Full Job Description**
Are you a skilled organiser with a talent for managing office operations and ensuring smooth business functioning? Hendersons, a leading provider of educational services, is seeking a dedicated Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office and ensure all systems, resources, and personnel are effectively managed to support our team’s success.
In this crucial role, you’ll contribute to the planning and review of office services, allocate resources, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies. By organising and optimising office processes, you’ll help create a productive and efficient environment that supports our educational goals.
**What You’ll Do**
As our Office Manager, you will:
- Manage Office Resources: Ensure efficient allocation of space, equipment, and human resources to support the team’s operations and productivity.
- Oversee Office Operations: Coordinate office functions, including record-keeping, office supplies, and equipment maintenance.
- Monitor Performance: Assign work to office staff, monitor their performance, and provide ongoing support and supervision.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure that the office complies with all relevant work health and safety regulations and government legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate Personnel Activities: Oversee hiring, promotions, performance management, payroll, training, and supervision to support a motivated and efficient team.
- Optimize Office Systems: Contribute to the planning and review of office services and standards to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Coordinate Critical Operations: Manage workshop schedules, mange teacher allocations, coordinate practice exams, and resolve customer complaints while maintaining high standards of service.
- Build Relationships: Develop strong collaborative relationships with management, teachers, students, parents, and external partners to foster a positive and supportive working environment.
**What We’re Looking For**
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar office management or leadership role.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with office management software.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service and teamwork.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to foster a productive and harmonious office environment.
**Salary**: $74,000 plus super
Pay: From $74,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Evening shift
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability
