**The Role**

To support the growth and alignment of Perenti Group’s suite of companies, we are on the hunt for a **Data Team Lead**.

Reporting to the Head of Technology Data and Analytics the Data Team Lead will be responsible for providing day-to-day data governance activities whilst ensuring data integrity across critical business data warehouses.
- The Data Team Lead will be responsible for day-to-day operational activities on the existing Data platform, these include
- Provide technical expertise and personal development to team members in the creation of data queries and management of complex data issues.
- Create processes and procedures along with access controls to monitor adherence.
- This includes enhancing existing internal policies and standards'”and enforcing those policies.
- Maintain quality of the data using user feedback, concerns, and questions; internally reporting metrics; evaluate and identify issues, and coordinate and implement corrections regularly.
- Monitor data usage to assist teams, share best practice trends in data use, and provide insight into how and where teams can use data to help in day-to-day decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders ensuring that standards and procedures comply with relevant legislation.
- Continuous improvement on data validation, business rules, and matching logic.
- Ticket management, prioritization, and resolution to Data based tickets.
