JLG Industries is the global market leader of access equipment.

We are looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Field Service Technician to join our busy team servicing in South West Sydney and Sydney Metro area.

The overall scope of the role is to carry out servicing and repairs on new fire trucks, mini dumpers and EWP machines, Telehandlers and lighting towers in the field as well as in the workshop when requested.

**This particular role will be focused on new fire trucks with a major focus on the electronics of the truck, with all training provided.**

**Role & Responsibilities include but not limited too**:

- Providing breakdown assistance, routine services and on-going maintenance to our existing and expanding customer base.
- Carry out inspections, servicing and repairs of elevating work platforms, telehandlers and lighting towers
- When attending to customer's sites make every effort to repair machines on site limiting the need to transport the machines off site
- Be available to travel including overnight accommodation when requested
- Completing all appropriate paperwork and inspection forms required by Australian & New Zealand Standards and also by customer and/or site requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail is essential

The successful applicant will have a current drivers license and experience in the fields of electronics, mechanics, diesel mechanics or hydraulics preferably from within the Elevated Work Platform or related industry.

Pay: $42.00 - $48.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Electrical systems: 4 years (required)
- Field Service Technician: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Mechanical/ Electrical Trade Qualification (required)
