About the Role

Want to work on some of the biggest and most advanced machines in the construction industry?

Driven by growth and an expanding customer base, Liebherr Maritime Cargo & Construction division has an opportunity for an experienced and motivated Field Service Technician. Reporting to the Technical Manager, this role is responsible for diagnostic, maintenance, and repairs in the field for existing and new customers across Sydney and throughout Australian and New Zealand.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical diagnosis on heavy machinery
- Major and minor services
- New machine builds
- Inspect and test electrical and instrumentation systems and components
- Routine maintenance, repairs, and component replacements
- Complete Service Reports
- Expand and maintain customer relationships in the field
- Organising your own jobs and parts orderin
- Adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace

**About you**:

- Trade qualified in Electrical or Diesel / Mobile Plant Mechanic or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Flexibility to travel and work over-time as required
- Capable of working independently in the field, problem solving in various situations.
- Extensive Crane, Plant or Heavy vehicle industry experience
- Ability to fault find and rectify hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues
- A current driver’s license
- Forklift, W, T, R and Air conditioning ticket advantageous
