**Position Information**:
St George Girls High School (enrolment 905 students, including 95% students from a language background other than English) is an academically selective high school with a well-respected history of providing exceptional educational outcomes and experiences for high potential learners since 1916.

**Selection Criteria**:
1. Approval to teach English (7-10), English (11-12) and History (7-10). Approval and/or willingness to teach Modern History (11-12).

2. Demonstrated knowledge of the Stage 6 English Advanced course, and an ability to deliver teaching and learning programs that include a range of resources, including ICT, that engage students in their learning.

3. Ability to design and deliver engaging, innovative and differentiated lessons that support the diverse learning needs of high potential learners.

4. Highly developed communication skills with a capacity to build positive relationships with students, staff and the school community.
