An exciting opportunity exists for a Manager, Outcomes & Insights on a Fixed term basis in Housing Policy
The Social Housing Reform unit works to improve the Victorian community's access to suitable and stable housing, with a particular focus on reducing the barriers to housing for Victorians with complex health and social issues. The unit is responsible for key reforms announced as part of the Big Housing Build including developing a joint vision for Victoria's social housing system, enabling a stronger and more capable social housing system and ensuring a sustainable and renewed public housing portfolio. The unit is responsible for driving an ambitious person-focused reform agenda, which includes developing and implementing policy, program and legislative reform. Social Housing Reform works in close partnership with other parts of Homes Victoria, the department, other state government departments and external stakeholders to improve social and affordable housing outcomes in Victoria.
This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to lead the Outcomes and Insights team in Housing Policy in Homes Victoria (Department of Families, Fairness and Housing).
The manager will provide leadership to a small and dynamic team and work collaboratively across Homes Victoria, Victorian Government and external stakeholders to embed evidence-based policy and delivery decisions. The manager will be an innovative leader, focused on delivering insights and housing policy advice that draws from existing quantitative and qualitative data, as well as pursuing new methods including embedding the voice of lived experience, impactful data visualisation and use of linked data and avoided cost modelling.
