An exciting opportunity exists for a (Manager, Priority Reform and Outcomes) on a (Fixed term ) basis in (Priority Reform & Outcomes ).
The Priority Reform and Outcomes team leads the department's transition to systematic measurement of the outcomes the department seeks to achieve for service users, service delivery and the broader community services system. We implement the department's Outcomes Framework and support the integration of outcomes approaches in performance monitoring, investment, planning and priority setting. We provide advice on how to use outcomes to target reforms and investment and measure their success, lead the design and implementation of outcomes-focused funding and commissioning approaches to service delivery, and manage the several of the department's Partnerships Addressing Disadvantage.
The Manager, Priority Reform and Outcomes leads a team responsible for enabling an outcomes approach throughout the Department, especially towards its investment in priority reforms, programs and services.
This includes strategic development and oversight of the Department's outcomes framework, including the indicator library and measures; providing advice to divisions on the development of investment logic and outcomes measurement for activities and services, in some cases on a cost recovery basis; and leading the expansion of outcomes-based commissioning and the development, implementation and monitoring of specific social impact investments (such as Social Impact Bonds).
