Quality Assurance Document Controller

**Job description**:
Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Quality Assurance Document Controller, based in the Fort William area.
The Document Controller will be responsible for the accurate and efficient preparation and management of documents.
Duties & Responsibilities
- To update the existing document control systems and procedures
- To manage and maintain all associated documentation, ensuring accuracy and quality
- To process documents for revision and approval
- To assist in the development of process documentation and supervising data processing and programs
- To deliver training to process owners on the correct document structure and control tool usage.
- To liaise with and distribute project related information with all levels of the project team and potentially external parties
- To ensure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staff, contractors and suppliers as applicable
- To develop and maintain the sites document control registers
- Providing support and assisting the department with HSE tasks e.g. internal audits
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working with technical documentation and manuals
- Ability to prioritise tasks, demonstrating a high level of problem-solving
- Strong accuracy, organisational and planning skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Understanding and experience of ISO 9001:2015 and internal auditing
- Previous experience of large projects and familiar with capital project phases would be desirable
