Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Technology Program Communications Officer on a contract for 12 months with potential extension.

**About the Role**:
Business Solutions and Technology (BS&T) is responsible for all software related business analysis, business solutions, architecture, software development, telephony, IT Services, Infrastructure and Cyber Security.

DHA is currently delivering a significant digital transformation program.

This program is supported by an Enterprise Change Management Team, however this role will work specifically within the CIO Office developing content and communications plans across the broader technology group.

The technology team is looking for an experienced Communications Officer to create and implement communications strategies and content to support both the technology refresh program and IT Operations changes.

We are looking for an experienced writer with editorial skills who is excited about developing and implementing plans to engage target audiences and spread the message about the great work we do.

Preference will be given to those who also have experience and skills in light graphic design. We will make an assessment of your suitability by looking at what you have done previously - the knowledge, skills and experience you have built, your potential for development, and your personal qualities.

For this role, we will consider how well you:
Support Change Management Team with specific content development relating to the technology team.

Maintain technology intranet pages.

Create user articles & specific content relating to the initatives within the Technology Team Create/plan visuals to accompany articles and publications where required Identify target audiences and create strategies to effectively engage them.

Create content for corporate publications such as annual reports pertaining to the Technology Program

Proactively contribute to the Technology Team's corporate positioning and ensure
