Libraries ACT are on the look out for a Communications and Programs Officer who has a great passion for delivering strategic and targeted communications and programs to the community.

Come and join a team of passionate and creative professionals who develop and deliver engaging programs, events and projects for Libraries ACT. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic communications and programs expert who can support the delivery of strategic communications and programs targeted to a broad range of groups within the community.

You will work collaboratively with the Outreach team, Communications and Engagement team, Executive team and Library Branches to deliver effective and engaging communications, programs and events. You will work on exciting projects that will help shape the future of libraries. Your work will make an immediate and impactful contribution to the Canberra community.

This position is based in workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk. The opportunity to work from home exist as operational needs allow.
