Due to an internal promotion, we have an amazing opportunity to join Australia’s largest broad range liquor wholesaler - Australian Liquor Marketers (ALM) as the IBA Business Manager NSW/ACT.

With your local market knowledge and insight, develop industry leading retail programs and marketing strategies to drive growth of the Independent Brands Australia (IBA) network & banners including Cellarbrations, The Bottle
- O, IGA Liquor, Porters & Thirsty Camel within NSW/ACT. Partner with the Retail Committees and broader retail network, promoting and building IBA member loyalty and commitment. Lead the IBA Operations & Retail Operations team, ensuring optimal execution of the retail programs and support provided to the IBA member network.

What you’ll do

Collaborate with all IBA business functions and banner-aligned members to develop industry-leading retail programs and support model, in order to drive growth of the IBA network within your respective state.

Manage / facilitate discussions with Retail committee representatives to ensure that local requirements are captured and fed into the Merchandise & Marketing functions, which will form the basis of all Retail programs

Foster strong working relationships with the broader Retail network to promote and galvanise IBA member loyalty and commitment.

Gather and communicate local market intelligence

Lead the Operations function / Field sales team (BDM’s)

Partner with suppliers to develop world class consumer facing initiatives

Initiate new business growth within IBA

What you’ll bring

Experience in a similar role within retail liquor or FMCG

Demonstrated experience in Team leadership / People Management / Coaching

Exceptional stakeholder management

Strong selling / influencing skills

Commercial acumen

Planning / Multi-tasking/ Resilience
